3 days Queen Elizabeth Safari Uganda takes you on a wildlife adventure in Queen Elizabeth national park one of the most popular safari destinations in Uganda, this park is situated in western region of Uganda with Kasese as the nearest city. Queen Elizabeth national park has one of the highest biodiversity in the world with over 500 bird species and 100 mammal species including 4 of the big five. The park is famously known for the tree climbing lions found in the Ishasha sector of the park.

 DETAILED ITINERARY OF 3 DAYS QUEEN ELIZABETH SAFARI UGANDA

Day 1: Kampala- Queen Elizabeth National Park

After having breakfast at you hotel in Kampala, you will meet your safari-driver guide and after a short safari briefing you will embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth national park situated in western Uganda. On your way you will have a stopover at the Equator landmark for pictures and have another stopover in Mbarara city for lunch, then proceed to the park while marveling on the breathtaking scenery, tea plantations, long horned cattle and Rwenzori Mountains. Arrive in the park in evening, check into your lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2:  morning game drive and boat cruise on Kazinga channel

Start your day with a cup of coffee and drive to the park for an early morning game drive in the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth national park, while driving along the Queen’s Mile plus and the Kasenyi trail you will see many animals such as elephants, waterbucks, lions, buffaloes, hippos, leopards, kobs, warthogs among others. After the game drive you will head back to the lodge for late breakfast and lounge around as you wait for lunch, in the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel connecting Lake George to Lake Edward. On the boat cruise you will watch a number of animals such as hippos, buffaloes and herds of elephants at the banks of the channel and birds such as grey crested cranes, herons, shoebills among others. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth- Entebbe

Still with the wonderful memories of yesterday’s activity, you will have breakfast then checkout after meeting your safari driver-guide and drive back to Kampala. On your way you will have a visit to the Igongo Cultural village for cultural experience learning more about the Banyoro people and Bunyoro Kingdom. You will also have lunch and proceed to Kampala, when you arrive in Kampala, you will be dropped off either at Entebbe international airport or your hotel in Kampala.
